Help: Online Services

Beginning from version 10.0, TranslateIt! supports Online Services.
Online Services allow integrating into TranslateIt! most web-sites for external translation queries.
When using Online Services, you don't have to open sites in your browser, and you can setup TranslateIt! to display only certain parts of results pages from those sites, thus getting rid from unneeded information, images and ads. Such slimmed down results pages are loaded and displayed much faster, and they are easier to read. And such requests are performed using all set up Online Services simultaneously!
You can easily create profiles for all new sites you add. It is really easy! And some predefined profiles are provided at the bottom of this page.
You can copy links to your profiles to quickly share them with your friends: Clicking such a link will automatically start TranslateIt!, and set up and activate the corresponding profile.
TranslateIt! also can automatically update profiles installed from this page. So if we get to know that some Online Service parameters have changed, we update the corresponding profiles on our server, and you can quickly and easily update all your profiles by clicking a single update button.

Predefined Profiles

Working with Profiles

To turn on the Online Services support, click the Online Services button on the main window toolbar or at the bottom of the Online Services dialog, so that it is highlighted in blue.
After you have set up and activated a profile (there is a check mark to the left of it in the list), you have to assign it to some local dictionaries.
So when you switch from one dictionary group to another, along with activation of corresponding dictionaries, this activates the Online Services assigned to them. Use the Assign pane to assign a service to local dictionaries. To open it, click the Assign button on the Online Services pane.
You can also assign a service to all dictionaries, in which case it will be active, even if you don't have any local dictionaries installed.
your custom profiles, and we will add them to our list.
